Shannon Fallon, M.A, CCC-SLP received her Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Lehman College. She brings a wealth of experience with accents, as she earned her bachelor’s degree in theater from the College of William and Mary followed by two years of professional actor training at Atlantic Theater Company Acting School here in New York City.
Shannon’s speech mentors gently corrected and polished her native Virginian speech to Standard American English, and her voice teachers helped her develop a resonant, melodic, and authoritative speaking voice. Shannon is a trained mezzo-soprano with clinical experience conducting voice therapy for professional voice users.
Shannon worked for nine years at a corporate law firm in Manhattan, which has given her an “ear” for the language of the legal and business worlds. In her spare time, she and her husband chase after their 4-year-old daughter and 20-month-old son. Shannon finds the music of accents fascinating and loves creating moments for others to be proud of their successes!
